Prof Harry Campbell
Harry Campbell is Professor of Genetic Epidemiology and Public Health in the Division of Community Health Sciences.
Prof Campbell has a longstanding interest in several aspects of childhood respiratory infections in developing countries, including epidemiology, prevention and treatment.
His current projects include:
- membership on World Health Organisation (WHO) Child Health Epidemiology Group producing global burden of disease estimates
- development of clinical guidelines and undergraduate and postgraduate training materials for WHO
- founding member of International Child Health Review Collaboration in Child Health which prepares evidence-based reviews in child health for WHO
- membership on Gates Foundation advisory group for the Global Health Diagnostics Forum
