The final year consists of a combination of Honours projects, field work, transferable skills and taught courses.
In addition to compulsory courses, you will take one additional course which can draw on material from the 'Remote Sensing MSc'.
Please note that Geophysics Project 1 and 2 are also available as a combined course.
The topics available for geophysics projects may cover Meteorology, solid-Earth geophysics or any other application of physics to the Earth system. Geophysics and Meteorology students are expected to choose a meteorological topic for one of their projects.
You will also take a range of additional courses chosen from a wide selection in physics, geophysics, geology and environmental science.
