3rd year curriculum
In your third year you will develop deeper theoretical and practical knowledge of the earth sciences.
You will participate in field excursions to the west of Scotland as well as further residential fieldwork in Spain.
In the summer following your third year, you will complete an independent 4-week, field-based project in an area of your choice, anywhere from the Scottish Highlands to New Zealand. This project will form an important component of your Honours assessment.
