In the area of Physical Sciences, we award degrees classed as Atmospheric & Environmental Sciences or Geology & Geophysics.

In the area of Social Sciences, we award degrees classed as Human Geography.

We are keen to support research projects which span a number of subject areas.

Before applying for one of our PhD programmes, you will need to find a potential supervisor.
