We have a number of research projects that you can apply for, or you can create your own project.

We award three degree programmes classed as Physical Sciences: Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, and Geology and Geophysics.

In the area of Social Sciences, we award degrees classed as Human Geography.

We are keen to support research projects which span a number of subject areas.

Before applying for one of our PhD programmes, you will need to find a potential supervisor.
