These Masters Scholarships, provided by the Scottish Power Foundation in partnership with its Spanish equivalent Fundacion Iberdrola, are available in the following areas: Renewable energy Sustainable energy system Environment Clean combustion technologies Emissions management Energy efficiency Energy storage Electric vehicle Smart distribution networks The scholarships aim to contribute to the education of young professionals with the capabilities required to lead the energy industry into the future. Each award covers tuition fees plus a maintenance allowance of £1,200 per month. Awards are made for a maximum duration of one calendar year.

The University of Edinburgh offers a wide range of scholarships to support students of all nationalities. These include the Edinburgh Global Master’s Scholarship and many other region- and country-specific scholarships.
These scholarships have a separate application process. For most of the scholarships you will need to have already applied for a place on the MSc before you can apply for the scholarship. The deadlines for these scholarships range from October to May, so you need to apply early to the MSc to be able to apply for the full range of scholarships.
If you already have an undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh, you may be eligible for a 10% discount on tuition fees.
