Optional Courses
In addition to the two core courses, you can select 80 credits from a very broad range of elective courses across the School of GeoSciences and other Schools across the University. To aid in the construction of a relevant and coherent programme of study, we have grouped some of the courses available into three streams themes below. These are only suggestions, and you are free to browse elective courses across the University to suit your own interests. The elective handbook contains descriptions of many of the relevant courses.
You will meet with your Programme Director at the start of each term to discuss which electives are most suited to your background, interests and goals.
