Entry requirements
Find out what academic standards you will need to be considered for a Masters in GeoSciences. The programme starts each September.
- Your application should be submitted online.
- You should have a UK 2:1 honours degree, or its equivalent if outside the UK. Applicants holding a UK 2:2 honours degree, or its equivalent from outside the UK, may also be considered. Students whose first language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency in English.
- When applying, you are encouraged to write a personal statement, and to include information on relevant knowledge and training skills. Please ensure you complete these as fully as possible, including details of why you have applied to study this programme, and details of how your experience and skills are relevant.
- Some programmes also ask for relevant work experience, or a degree in a discipline area relevant to the programme. Check the pages for your programme to find out more about specific entry requirements.

English language requirement
If English is not your first language, we will also need to see evidence of your English language proficiency before we can offer you a place.
