| Research Interests: | The management of irregular forest stands and the management of farm woodlands. The first is centred on Glentress Trial Area near Peebles which continues to provide a succession of undergraduate and postgraduate research project, as well as demonstration facilities, covering a range of environmental, biological and management topics. The second is based on Bush Estate woodlands near Edinburgh which provides a variety of projects on the location, design and management of woodland ancillary to agriculture. | |||||||||||||
