| Research Interests: | Microtextures and phase behaviour in minerals, particularly feldspars. Use of microtextures as guides to thermal history and fluid-rock interactions in igneous to diagenetic regimes. Feldspar weathering. Mineral surfaces and the origins of life. Petrology of alkaline igneous rocks, Gardar province of South Greenland, and NW Scotland.
