Postgraduate study
Taught and research programmes available within the colleges and schools affiliated with the Centre. You can complement your studies with couses from these programmes, or with supervision from people affiliated with the Centre.
Examples of how students can draw upon the expertise of the centre include, for instance, an MSc student in Film Studies who may consider joining a class in African Cinema, in Music or in Sound Design.
Similarly, a student enrolled on a PhD in Film Studies, whose research includes film aesthetics as well as, for instance, sound, Chinese cinema, architecture or photography might receive supervision from a combination of staff from different schools.
New courses: Starting September 2010 and September 2011: New postgraduate degree courses in transdisciplinary research relating to screen media and critical media practice.
