What to do if you have a problem viewing an area of EBIS.
Java issues
If you have problems viewing the left hand menu or a drawing when using the EBIS system it is likely you dont have Java software or have an incorrect version of Java software installed on your computer. This software is essential for viewing EBIS.
The version of Java to have installed on your computer when using EBIS is 1.5.0_11. If you have another version installed you may have problems viewing areas of the system.
What version do I have?
To find out what version you currently have installed, select 'Tools' from your browser menu bar and 'Sun Java Console' from the list. The version on your computer will be displayed in this box.
If you do not have the 'Sun Java Console' option it is likely you do not have any version of Java installed on your computer.
