Energy Coordinators help promote energy reduction in their school or unit.
The Energy Reduction Campaign relies on good communication between Estates & Buildings staff and academic and support staff across the University.
Within each building a Head of School or Unit should nominate an Energy Coordinator. Where Schools are large, or where they cover more than one site, several Energy Coordinators may be appointed so they each oversee a particular building.
Energy Coordinators provide the day-to-day contact for their school or unit on all aspects of energy reduction. The main role of Energy Coordinators is to:-
Can you help promote Switch and Save locally? Anyone interested in becoming an Energy Coordinator for their building or school should contact the Energy Office.
Please notify the Energy Office when Energy Coordinators change.
Energy Coordinators are required to hold their own email and contact lists for their local Energy Reps and keep these up to date.
