Vinyl tiles and cement based screeds are extremely hard wearing but some do contain small quantities of asbestos.

As well as being used in gaskets, Chrysotile (white asbestos), is easily woven to create textiles used for fire protection.

Asbestos has been used in approximately 3,500 products.
