The University has been awarded funding by Zero Waste Scotland to roll shared recycling points out in public areas. These bins will be delivered to building foyers and cafes during February and March 2013.

EUSA venues at Potterrow, Teviot and Pleasance is all benefiting from a dedicated collection of food and compostable packaging collection this year. The biodegradable waste is being sent to an Anerobic Digestion plant to make fertiliser and combustable gas.
