Laboratory waste (£)
This section details what is classed as laboratory waste and how to dispose of each type.
Waste from research laboratories, animal and human healthcare and some teaching areas may contain items which cannot be placed into the General waste stream.
Due to changes in legislation and good practice, all laboratory waste must now be segregated properly into a number of distinct fractions for safe disposal.
