International Women's Day Annual Lectures

The University's annual lecture series to celebrate International Women's Day includes 'inspiring women speakers' of international reputation.

Following the success of the 2010, 11 and 12 Lectures, the fourth of the series of annual lectures being held on 8th of March 2013, which is International Women's Day, is currently being progressed.

The lectures are open to the public and to all staff and students.

Our 2013 speaker is Professor Lesley Yellowlees, University of Edinburgh, who the is Vice-Principal and Head of the College of Science and Engineering.

Lesley also holds a Personal Chair in Inorganic Electrochemistry and is the President-Elect of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
