Introduction
Our wide range of courses for international students and teachers are designed and developed by academic staff who are closely involved in course direction and classroom teaching.
English for Academic Purposes
We provide a range of Academic English courses for students who wish to improve their English to prepare for university study and for those interested in developing their English within and for an academic context.
English for Specific Purposes
We run a range of summer courses which focus on English used in Medicine, Law and in Business. These courses are appropriate for both professionals and students.
Teacher Development
We run short courses during the summer for English language teachers and teachers of other subjects who are required to teach their subject in English.
Academic attachments
We can sometimes provide opportunities for individual scholars and small groups to work on specific projects in language teaching.
General English
We are no longer running General English courses after June 2013. These pages are retained for reference.
