Our RKE Office supports the development, delivery and dissemination of research and knowledge exchange activities including advice and information on ethical approval.
All applications for funding, either external or internal, must be processed through the RKE Office. The RKE Administrator will provide salary costs using Edinburgh Research and Innovation's (ERI's) recommended procedures for obtaining these.
Activities include support for funding applications, funded research projects, conferences, seminars and commercially delivered professional learning in the form of short courses and events.
The RKE Office also supports the collection and archiving of research, impact and publications data in preparation for the Research Excellence Framework submission and assists in the dissemination, marketing and publicity of research conducted within the School of Education.
The office is directed by the Director of Research and Knowledge Exchange, assisted by the Research and Knowledge Exchange Officer, Administrator and Secretary.
