DPEG's members and a brief introduction to the research they carry out.
Group members
DPEG is directed by Mike Jess. The Group includes lecturers, teachers, academics, researchers and administrative staff.

- Paul McMillan (Paul is a Teaching Fellow in the SPEHS at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. His research interests include sport education as well as the influence of teachers' beliefs and values on practice.)

Research
Over the last 8 years, the DPEG have published book chapters, articles, manuals and conference papers on children and young people’s physical education, sport and physical activity. Recently, this work has focussed on the place of complexity theory in developmental physical education.
Currently, the DPEG is collaborating with the University of Glasgow on the Scottish Primary Physical Education Project and is collecting data from hundreds of teachers across Scotland.
