Teaching and research excellence is supported by a range of quality assurance and enhancement procedures.
The University is committed to maintaining and enhancing its high quality of learning and teaching. This commitment is directly supported by activities and processes carried out in schools to assure and enhance academic quality and maintain standards.
School of Education staff involved in the assurance and enhancement of teaching include a Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) Director, a QAE Administrator, Course Managers, Subject Area Convenors, and Directors of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies.
Guidance for these QAE procedures is available online.
Student participation and support are key elements of our quality assurance and enhancement programme.
Our quality processes take place in the context of the University's overall quality assurance framework, which can be found on the Quality Unit website.
