Our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Product Design explore new methods of discovering unique, genuine problems and opportunities for the design of original and useful products.
They embrace the generation of ideas and the creation of product prototypes in response to social, physical, psychological or economic needs and opportunities discovered through research.
The course philosophy is guided by a questioning stance on the role of product design in the 21st century, one which considers the creation of a sustainable future through critical and creative exploration of a range of approaches to product design.
