Interior Design covers the study and design of interior space in relation to a wide range of public and private environments.
You will develop skills through innovative design projects that will enable you to explore the design potential of existing buildings and find new uses for old or redundant spaces.
You are encouraged to treat each project as an opportunity to study the aspects of interior design that appear interesting or personally relevant as you will increasingly become responsible for the content and direction of your own work.
Your design work will be focused through tutorials, expert advice and critical appraisal. This is reinforced by strong links with commercial design consultancies and architectural practices, creating a design culture that is engaged in all aspects of spatial design and interior architecture.
