All postgraduate students in Edinburgh College of Art are part of our Graduate School.

The Graduate School of Edinburgh College of Art is home to a multitude of taught and research programmes in Design, Art, History of Art, Music, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Architectural History, Cultural Studies and Digital Media.
Students interested in studying for a postgraduate degree or undertaking independent research at higher level should find most of the information they require in the web pages of the Graduate School, including information about what programmes and degrees we offer.
Application to postgraduate programmes at the University of Edinburgh is done online. Some programmes may require additional application material to be sent via post.

Applications for 2013/14 entry will be subject to new English proficiency requirements. Applicants will be required to have IELTS 7.0 (with no score lower than 6.0 in each section).
Students who achieve our minimum score for entry may be required, at matriculation, to take the Test of English at Matriculation (TEAM) test. This test is designed to highlight any weaknesses you may have with your English and tuition will be provided for you free of charge.

ECA is represented at many UK and international events and is open to visitors on Open Days and student-led tours, the latter being ideal for those who miss the scheduled Open Days.
