Before contacting us about supervision, you should check the criteria below as these are required fields in the contact form.
1. You should check that we will be able to provide supervision in your chosen topic by identifying one or two potential supervisors. We can accommodate a wide range of research interests and these are detailed in our staff profiles.
2. If you cannot identify a suitable research area then you will need to revise your research proposal.
3. You will need to provide a summary of your research interest, a well thought out proposal will increase your chances of receiving a prompt response. Your proposal should identify a research area and should show that you have a knowledge of leading contemporary and innovative economics research. The proposal need not be very detailed but should cite the relevant literature and if possible identify any potential gaps.
You will need to have, or will be studying towards, an MSc in Economics. If you do not have an MSc then you can apply to our MSc programme.
