David Comerford graduated from Glasgow University with a 1st Class combined honours degree in Maths & Physics (MSci) in 1999. He then worked in Edinburgh's insurance sector and qualified as an actuary in 2006. He got his MSc in Economics (distinction) from The University of Edinburgh in 2009.
His research interest is in macroeconomics, in particular climate change, energy and natural resources, growth, inequality, and the costs and benefits of independence. An example of his research is given below.
