Background
Kohei Kawamura obtained his MPhil and PhD from the University of Oxford, where he was a student at Nuffield College and lecturer at St Hugh's College.
He did his BA and MA in commerce at Waseda University, Tokyo.
His research interests are in game theoretic analysis of communication, and the theory of the firm.
He has been studying how communication environments affect people's incentive to tell the truth (or a lie).
He has also worked on corporate governance, especially the relationship between employees and managerial decision making.
