Aims and objectives

The principles and guidelines we espouse in our interactions with our children, parents and staff.

At the Nursery we aim to:

Value all children as individuals
Demonstrate a caring and considerate attitude towards the children, promoting their self esteem
Provide as many varied learning experiences through play for the individual child
Encourage children to practice and acquire skills
Provide equipment and materials to encourage growth and development
Encourage the development of skills in early literacy and early numeracy
Observe, monitor and evaluate children's progress and consult with parents regarding their child's achievements
Maintain a good relationship with parents
Work together as a team for the benefit of both children and staff
Seek training opportunities for all staff, to enhance the quality of care we provide
Improve our service through self-evaluation
