Meetings and events
Many of the University's facilities for staff are run by Corporate Services units.
Meeting rooms
Central rooms may be booked using the EBIS Room Booking system.
Superior meeting room facilities are available at St Leonards and Salisbury Green from Edinburgh First.
Other rooms may be bookable locally or via eDiary.
Meeting rooms in Charles Stewart House
Corporate Services Group is pleased to announce four quality meeting rooms within Charles Stewart House are now available for use via the EBIS online centrally bookable system for registered users.

Charles Stewart House is at 9-16 Chambers street, opposite Old College.
Each room is fully equipped with IT and audio facilities, including wireless internet and VOIP, magentic white boards (plus free standing flipcharts if required) along with self-service beverage machines.
The rooms are furnished with high quality tables and sprung chairs with arms as well as specially selected lighting to inspire "blue sky" thinking, ideal for those all day training and development sessions.
Access to all four rooms is from the main reception of Charles Stewart House via either the main lift or the stairs.

IT facilities
The Cheviot room is equipped with video and telephone conference facilities.
The standard room layout is boardroom style unless requested otherwise. Organisers are especially requested to check any non-standard requirements at the time of booking and to ensure these are recorded in the additional comments box within the online booking facility.
The standard IT functions are those delivered via the University's standard desktop support service which includes access to the Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. There is no email account associated with the generic login account associated with the four meeting rooms.
The generic username and password are shown below and will also be included in your automatic room booking confirmation email.

University staff wishing to use their own login will find they receive their normal desktop setup including their email account.
Catering
Tea, coffee and water facilites are available on a self-service basis from the beverage and water machines located in or near each room.
Non-University staff bookings for catering can be requested through our Edinburgh First Outside Catering Service.
All other catering requirements, for example buffet lunches and biscuits, are bookable via Edinburgh First using the online catering service.
This service is accessed through the "Services" tab within MyEd and requires EASE logon.
Conferences and events
Edinburgh First offers superb conference, meeting and catering facilities.
