Investors in People is about moving the whole organisation forward, and ensuring continuous improvement. In fact, Accommodation Services has already been benefiting from the whole exercise of applying for IiP accreditation due to the various initiatives engaged in whilst moving to official recognition. Achievement of IIP now recognises all these efforts and is really the 'icing on the cake'.
While gaining recognition is a great achievement, it is only the start of the process. Communication will continue to be fed through supervisors, team leaders and managers on performance of all the roles within AS. In return, there will be clear information emerging as to the future workings of the organisation and how to achieve future objectives.
Congratulations to you and your colleagues for getting IiP Accreditation for your people management and development processes. I know how demanding the IIP procedure is and it is very good to see you getting this recognition.
