This is a part-time online postgraduate programme where qualifications are awarded at certificate, diploma or master’s level.
The degree normally extends over a period of 36 months. The first two years contain a series of taught 10 and 20 credit modules. A master’s degree is awarded following the completion of a dissertation in Year Three.
You are not committed to completing a degree. A certificate or diploma can be awarded once the required number of credits has been completed. If you apply for the certificate or diploma, you can also to continue onto a master’s degree.
You can apply for recognition of Accredited Prior Learning (APL) for a maximum of 60 credits for a master’s degree (and for 40 or 20 credits for a diploma or certificate).
APL is most likely to be recognised if you have started a similar course at another university but were unable to continue due to relocation.
