Dr Iain Scragg
Dr Ian Scragg
Ian received his doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Edinburgh. He moved to Oxford where he carried out research into infectious diseases at the Institute of Molecular Medicine. In 2000, he moved back to Scotland to take up the position of Biological Safety Adviser at Dundee University. In 2002, he was appointed Head of Safety Services at Dundee, and during this time he has built up a team of 10 staff. He is an experienced trainer and has written and presented numerous health and safety courses. He is a member of the Institute of Safety in Technology and Research.
