Ishwar Allah - thumbnail

Ishwar Allah - artwork by Zulfikar Ali

Zulfikar Ali, a student at Edinburgh, has kindly produced this inter-faith artwork for the Chaplaincy, showing Ishwar [Shiva] and Allah as one being. Click through to see the full-size image.

"Shiva represents the masculine and feminine aspects of the divine, the spiritual awakening; Allah represents the earth and the universe. Together they are the unity of faith and the oneness of humanity."

Drawings by Catriona Mackenzie

At the beginning of Semester 1, 2011, the Chaplaincy was invited to put on a multifaith service in response to the David Mach exhibition at the City Art Centre. For this, ECA student Catriona Mackenzie made and exhibited some of her drawings.

Here is just a small samples of the some of the lovely work Catriona produced.
