This section, colour-coded in red, contains comprehensive information to help you apply for jobs or courses and prepare for interviews and assessment centres.
Consult the red folders for examples and advice about writing excellent CVs, covering letters and applications.
Use the extensive range of reference books for further advice and examples of good practice, and pick up a takeaway copy of the 'Effective Applications' booklet.
Take advantage of the resources available to help you prepare for attending assessment centres and interviews, which include:
- practice materials for psychometric tests (a limited number of books are available for overnight loans)
- feedback from students who have attended assesssment centres
- DVDs such as "Making an Impact: the graduate job interview" and "At the Assessment Centre"
The Careers Service guide "Successful Interviews" is also available to take home.
