How to pay students

Departments pay students via normal University procedures. Contact human resources for advice or to get the appropriate forms.

The finance department can advise on tax (all students without a P45 should be issued with a P46 tax form). If you simply need copies of P46 forms telephone the 'Payroll' section of the finance department.

All department staff are paid monthly through the University payroll. You should submit payment forms to the finance office by 5th of the month to ensure payment on the 28th of the month.
