The LAUNCH.ed Innovation Cup is open to students, graduates and researchers at the University of Edinburgh. It's looking for innovative research or technology-based ideas or ventures, with growth potential and scalability and the potential to trade internationally. Heriot-Watt's Converge Challenge is open to University of Edinburgh students and researchers (but not existing companies). Again, finalists will have the opportunity to further develop their business ideas through training and advice before pitching their proposal to a judging panel. The winner will receive £25K.
