Interested in studying at doctorate level or already applying for a PhD? You may be interested in attending the upcoming PhD Journey conference in Aberdeen this November.
The PhD Journey is a multidisciplinary conference aimed at prospective and new PhD students and is being organised by a group of the current postgraduate research students at the University of Aberdeen.
The conference intends to attract delegates from all Scottish Universities who are about to start or are interested in studying at a doctorate level. Their aim is to engage on the different aspects that PhD study entails through seminars and workshops hosted by leaders in their field in academia and industry, as well as PhD students.
Through attendance at the conference it is hoped that students will become well informed about the PhD journey and the future career prospects, and that a unique network of young researchers will be established in Scotland.
The event is due to be held from 6th to 7th November in Kings College, University of Aberdeen and costs £20.
