Edinburgh Global Partnerships (EGP) is a student-run charity and a society at the University of Edinburgh.
They recruit volunteers from Edinburgh to take part in community-led, development projects overseas, working together with the communities to help them achieve their goals for development.
"This year, we have six amazing projects in Nepal, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania and India. They are really worthwhile projects which range from the construction of a classroom block, to the installation of water harvesting units. For full information on all of them, check out our website. Taking part in a project with EGP is truly the opportunity of a lifetime: you have the ability to fully immerse yourself in a thoroughly different culture. The experiences which come your way on project make memories that last a lifetime.
