As a volunteer you have volunteer employment rights. If you are concerned, or would like to find out more, the following links will be helpful.
The employment section of the Directgov website details the employment rights of volunteers. This includes pay, expenses and training as well as links to organisations who can provide advice.
The Citizens Advice Bureau is also able to provide advice on volunteers' rights. You can visit one of their offices and speak to someone if you have any particular concerns.
