Institute of Direct Marketing - UK professional body for direct marketing and the world's first in this area. Provide education, training and support and promote direct marketing generally.
URthebrand - IDM careers site specifically for students and graduates
Institute of Promotional marketing - represents promoters, agencies and service partners engaged in promotional marketing. There is also a directory of members which is useful for identifying potential contacts.
Direct Marketing Association - trade association for the marketing and communications industry. The DMA produces an annual census of the industry which is available via their website.
Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide - the website includes a directory of members which you can search by country.
Marketing Agencies Association - represents marketing communication agencies in the UK. The website has useful career information for students and graduates and also advertises jobs.
Marketing Society - provides support and information for those working in the Marketing industry. There is not any career information for students and graduates but the website will give you a feel for this area of work.
