You can spend a year studying at one of our partner universities around the world.
We have an ERASMUS exchange agreement with the University of Uppsala in Sweden. This exchange is available for all Biology students, who can spend either the whole year or half their third year in Sweden.
Many of the courses in Uppsala are taught in English. There are normally three or four places available for Edinburgh students each year, and typically there are ten or twelve applicants for these places.
The University also has agreements enabling you to do one year of your degree in one of our many partner universities, through the International Exchange Programme.
