Research Themes
Our four integrative research themes are: cell and structural biology; systems and synthetic biology and biotechnology; evolutionary biology, infection and immunology; and stem cell biology.
Our research aims
Our aims are excellence in fundamental biological research, innovation through multi-disciplinary initiatives, and development of translational links.
Interdisciplinary science
Establishment of Interdisciplinary Centres has been central to our strategy to build out from a strong disciplinary base in order to work in the overlap areas.
