Overview
Accommodation Services (incorporating Edinburgh First) provides a comprehensive range of accommodation, conference, event and catering services for staff across the University and for all types of visitors to the University.
Years of experience and a strong customer focus have helped us build an enviable reputation. Our flexible approach and great value for money attracts a wide range of customers from across many sectors and especially from within the University; we actively support staff find solutions for their particular needs in these areas.
We use the University’s extensive and unique facilities and resources to maximise revenue opportunities and all profits from our activities are used to support students and staff.

With so many venues to choose from across the University, we’re ideally placed to provide you with all the support you'll need to make a success of your event … whether a major conference, training programme or fine dining for a discreet group of guests.
Catering
Quality food and drink for accommodation and conference guests plus other catering and dining options, from sandwich lunches using online Delivered Catering to gala dinners and drinks receptions across Edinburgh ... great menus and excellent service standards.
Festivals & Film
Our specialist team co-ordinate the University’s involvement in Festival activities across Edinburgh, including the Fringe and the International Science Festival. They also support requests for access to our locations for film and television purposes.
