We give all possible support to help disabled students secure the accommodation which best suits their needs.
Accommodation Services continues to work closely with the Student Disability Service to expand the range of facilities available for disabled students in both catered halls and self-catered residences and flats.
This already includes wheelchair-accessible accommodation and rooms which have been specially adapted for students with a hearing impairment.
We continue to address individual enquiries as they arise and additional adjustments can be made on an individual basis, without extra charge.
Accommodation Services recognises that disabilities encompass a much wider spectrum than physical impairments, and that not all disabilities are visible.
We offer a 24-hour pastoral support service through our Wardens and Accommodation Managers in all first year accommodation.
This service is provided for the benefit of all our students, whether disabled or not.
If you would like to discuss the accommodation options available, please contact the Allocations Division.
