Upstairs Café
Located on the seventh floor of the Michael Swann Building at King's Buildings, the Upstairs Café commands outstanding views of Edinburgh Castle and the surrounding skyline.
We offer an extensive hot food selection and range of snacks.
The hot food menu operates on a weekly cycle that includes a daily meat course and a vegetarian choice, as well as a hot dessert of the day.
In addition, there are baked potatoes, paninis, a salad bar and a range of pastries, together with confectionery, crisps, cold drinks and speciality teas and coffees.
The Upstairs Café has achieved both the Healthy Living and Food for the Brain awards.

KB Café
The KB Café is located on the ground floor of the Noreen and Kenneth Murray Library. It provides an extensive range of freshly ground speciality coffees and organic Fairtrade teas, along with soups, baked potatoes and a wide selection of sandwiches, panini, baguettes and salads, together with confectionary, soft drinks, freshly made smoothies and frappés.
