Boards of Studies
Proposals are considered at the school or University level.
School level
Detailed programme proposals are considered by the school Board of Studies. They are then transmitted to the College Undergraduate Studies Committee or equivalent for approval.
Proposals which comply with the University’s curriculum framework or have no wider implications are approved at this level.
University level
The Senate Curriculum and Student Progression Committee considers proposals for new programmes that:
- do not comply with the University’s curriculum framework or academic year structure
- concern the wider University
- are a major inter-college proposal
