Programme monitoring
Schools and discipline areas decide how to monitor their programmes.
Schools and discipline areas decide, with the agreement of the appropriate college quality assurance committee, the appropriate mechanisms for regular monitoring, review and updating of their degree programmes.
Mechanisms for programme monitoring include:
- programme monitoring forms
- student questionnaires for programmes of study
- other methods for obtaining student feedback on programmes, such as focus groups
Periodic programme review is carried out through the University’s internal subject review process, which reviews groups of degree programmes by a team external to the subject area.

Each college provides specific guidance on annual programme monitoring.
