Yearly meetings with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) help support our ongoing commitment to quality enhancement.
An annual meeting is held between the QAA and a small group of University representatives, comprising senior staff and a student representative.
These meetings do not involve judgements or public reporting, but are intended to support institutions in engaging with the Enhancement-Led Institution Review (ELIR) process.
A particular focus of the annual meeting will be the University’s approach to internal subject review (Teaching Programme Review and Postgraduate Programme Review) and how it is learning from the outcome of reviews held that year.
Other areas for discussion may include outcomes of visits by professional or statutory bodies and developments in the University’s approach to quality enhancement.
