Background

I joined the Language Education team in January 2015. Previously, I taught at University of Southampton after having completed my PhD in Linguistics from University of Essex. My research interests are in the areas of language learning and teaching, decolonising curriculum, teacher identity, assessment literacy, evaluation and design of instructional materials and community building at higher institution. I am also passionate about issues on race equality, diversity and inclusion.
