Background
Marco Palone is a qualified teacher in Italian and Classics. After the graduation in Lettere at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’, he obtained the DITALS certificate for teaching Italian as a foreign language (profiles: University students and immigrants). He has been tutor in Italian for academic purposes at ‘La Sapienza’ under the direction of Prof. Luca Serianni, and teacher of Italian at the College of Further Education of Freiburg (Germany), where also collaborated with the Centro Culturale Italiano. His main areas of research and publications are in Classics and narratology.
