Train strike action

Information and guidance for staff about upcoming industrial action that could affect train services.

Strike action by RMT conductors employed by ScotRail is planned to take place on the following days: Tuesday 21 June, Thursday 23 June, Saturday 25 June, Sunday 26 June, Sunday 3 July, Sunday 10 July and Sunday 17 July 2016.

Staff guidance

To help make arrangements to deal with the disruption, the University has produced a guidance document for staff.

In addition, in recognition of the potential difficulties that staff may face and to assist in minimising any disruption, the University has reduced the cost of the daily scratchcard permit for a University car park from £10 to £5 per day for those staff who normally travel by train on the affected routes during the period of disruption.
